Memorial Day Is a Time to Remember Those Who Gave Their Lives in Service to America. Help us Honor Their Service with a RUN TO REMEMBER on May 29, 2023!

This Memorial Day Weekend we are Joining Forces with Run To Remember VB in Honoring and Remembering our Fallen Heroes. We are honored RUN TO REMEMBER VB has selected Special Ops Survivors as one of the Two Beneficiaries for their Annual Run. Participation is in Person and Virtually.

In person is a 5K Cross Country Course and 1 mile Kid’s Run in Virginia Beach, VA or participate virtually. AND a t-shirt is involved both ways!

Run to Remember VB is a charitable race, conceived by four widows of Navy SEALs who were killed in action along with 26 other service members on August 6, 2011. In the midst of our grief, we felt extreme gratitude for the communities who rallied to support us- Naval Special Warfare, Virginia Beach, and many others around the nation. Our gratitude led us to create this event to bring people together to celebrate the true meaning of Memorial Day while giving back to organizations whose mission is to support families of fallen service members.

Run to Remember VB is held on Memorial Day, May 29, 2023, at the Military Aviation Museum in Pungo, VA. The morning begins with the National Anthem and the presentation of colors. At 8:06, in honor of the men we lost on August 6, 2011, the 5K will begin followed by the 1-Mile Kids’ Fun Run. Long after the race ends, the event continues with music, local food, and beverages.
